UDC Athletic Facilities
Physical Activities CenterThe Physical Activities Center serves as the central hub for athletics, recreation and fitness at the University. The Center contains a variety of facilities to meet the demands of the student body. UDC students can avail themselves of the amenities of a large and modern gymnasium, swimming pool with diving well, state –of- the art Weight and Fitness Center, five tennis courts, regulation size soccer field, dance studio, conference room, racquetball courts, and meeting facility. More importantly, the Center houses classrooms and faculty offices for the Department of Education’s Health and Physical Education Programs.
Gymnasium

The gymnasium seats 3,500. In addition to being home court for the men’s and women’s basket ball teams, it also serves as home court for the women’s volleyball team and is utilized for physical education classes.
Aquatics Center

The Physical Activities Center houses a top class swimming pool. Built for competition, the six-lane pool has a diving well that rivals those at other colleges. Swimming classes are offered through the Department of Education. The Department of Athletics’ intramural program offers recreational swim activities for students and staff.
Weight and Fitness Center

The Weight and Fitness Center is a state-of- the -art facility. It provides the opportunity for students, faculty, staff and the community to exercise and condition their bodies on some of the most modern equipment available.
Tennis Courts

Five tennis courts are available to the student body and community. Equipped with night-lights, the courts serve as a focal point for that portion of the campus.
Soccer Field
The soccer field will be closed for repairs August 7, 2006 until further notice.
Dance Studio

The dance studio serves to complement the studios in the Fine Arts Building by enabling non-dance majors and the community to have immediate access to an appropriate facility for a variety of activities including, exercising and dance practice.
Racquetball Courts

Regulation size racquetball courts are available to those who wish to engage in vigorous exercise activities to strengthen and condition their bodies.
