In this inaugural season in the East Coast Conference, both the Men's and Women's Basketball teams have secured the #2 seed in the conference tournament this weekend at Queens College in New York. The semifinals of the tournament will be held this Saturday, March 3rd, and the finals will be held on Sunday, March 4th.
In preparation for this weekend's ECC Basketball Tournament, the University of the District of Columbia has been given a limited number of hard tickets to pre-sell to fans. Anyone who is interested in purchasing tickets in advance can do so through the Athletic Department in the Sports Complex, room B-17, between the hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The tickets are discounted to $2 if you buy them in advance - They are $5 at the door at the event. We cannot guarantee that there will be additional tickets for sale at the event - so be sure to buy the tickets in advance. Also, the tickets are good for one day only – so if you want to buy tickets for Saturday and Sunday – you need to buy 2 tickets.
We strongly suggest that you purchase tickets in advance, as there is no guarantee that there will be tickets available at the event. We will sell these tickets on a first come first served basis. We cannot hold tickets until we receive payment for the tickets. Please come by to purchase your tickets before Thursday at 5:00 pm. We can only accept cash for these tickets, no credit cards or checks.

The women's team will play at 2:30 pm on Saturday against the winner of the No. 3 St. Thomas Aquinas vs. No. 6 Molloy quarterfinal game on Wednesday. The men's team will play at 7:30 pm on Saturday against the winner of the No. 3 Bridgeport vs. No. 6 Molloy quarterfinal game on Wednesday night.
