Firebirds Win Bowie State Homecoming Challenge

Bowie, MD: October 8, 2008—The UDC Firebirds won the Bowie State University Homecoming Challenge on Wednesday, in Bowie, Maryland with junior James Kichwen (Kapsabet, Kenya) finishing in first place with the time of 27:03, and claiming four of the top places in the Meet. Finishing in 3rd place was freshman Justin Chemallan (Nandi Hills, Kenya) 27:38, and coming in 4th  place was his brother senior Wilfred Chemallan (Nandi Hills, Kenya) 27:48.
