Washington, DC: October 4, 2009—The Molloy College Lions handed the University of the District of Columbia a, 9-0, defeat today at the Rock Creek Tennis Center in Washington, DC.

Long Island, NY: September 21, 2009—In their opening match of the season, the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds Women’s Tennis Team fell, 9-0, to the C.W. Post College Pioneers in Long Island, New York this afternoon.

T. Richard Mahaffey Named New UDC Head Men's & Women's Tennis Coach
Washington, DC— Patricia A. Thomas, director of athletics at the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) has announced the appointment of Theodore Richard F. Mahaffey, III, as head men’s and women’s tennis coach at the University. Mahaffey comes to the University from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., where he served as assistant tennis coach for their Division I men’s and women’s tennis teams from 2006 thru early 2009.
