UDC Announces Fall Sports Schedules
Washington, DC: July 22, 2010—The University of the District of Columbia, today, released its 2010 fall sports schedules. The seasons officially get underway on September 2, when the Firebirds Women’s Volleyball Team hosts the Virginia Union University Panthers, at home. Then the Men’s & Women’s Cross-country teams take to the course at the Salisbury State University Invitational in Salisbury, Maryland on September 4.

UDC Runs in HBCU Challenge
October 3, 2009: Cary, NC Sophomore Kaneesha Hollis (Centreville, MD) posted a 23:43 finish to lead the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds in the HBCU Challenge in Cary, North Carolina today. Following her was r-junior Demia Franklin (Baltimore, MD) finishing in 24:14.

UDC Women's Cross- Country Competes in Towson Invitational
Hunt Valley, MD:September 12, 2009-- The UDC Firebirds Women's Cross- Country team finished 8th in the Towson State University Cross-Country Invitational on Saturday, September 12, 2009 in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Freshman Calister Jones placed highest for the Firebirds, finishing 54th with the time of 8:25.3 26:09.86 42 .
