Erin Senegal Earns East Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – The University of the District of Columbia's Erin Senegal was named East Coast Conference men's basketball player of the week for his performance in the week ending February 28th.

Senegal, a senior guard, averaged 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per-game in two crucial ECC wins to end the regular season for the Firebirds. He shot a red-hot 55.2 percent from the field and a scorching 72.7 percent from three-point range.

Senegal and No. 3 seeded UDC will host No. 6 Mercy College in the East Coast Conference Championship Tournament Quarterfinals on Wed. night at 7 p.m.
