Daniel "Danny" Wadeson joined the University of the District of Columbia men's soccer coaching staff in July 2012. He is licensed by the United States Soccer Federation A and NSCAA Premier.
Wadeson comes to University of DC with a wealth of coaching experience including six years as head coach of the No. 1 ranked travel soccer team in Virginia, the Annandale Force (U18 Boys' Team), and two years as the Virginia Olympic Development Program State Coach. He also coached junior varsity for one season at St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School, and was the head coach for two seasons at his alma mater, University of Bolton.
A former captain of the University of Bolton squad, Wadeson went on to play semi professional soccer for the Daisy Hill Football Club. He came back to serve as Head Coach at university of Bolton from 1999-2000. While at UB, he earned a BA in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Marketing & Leisure Management in 1999 and a BA in Education in 2001.
Wadeson resides in Alexandria and enjoys playing guitar, cycling and competing in triathlons.
