Louka Queguiner Named to ECC Men’s Tennis All-Conference Team

Washington, DC – For the second consecutive season, Louka Queguiner has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Tennis All-Conference Team following a stellar season, as was announced by the Conference office this afternoon.

Queguiner, a senior from France, has been a reliable force for the Firebirds at the No. 2 singles position, finishing the season with multiple key wins over ECC opponents. He compiled a singles record that included hard-fought victories over players from Daemen, St. Thomas Aquinas, and Queens College. His thrilling three-set triumphs, particularly a 7-6 (7-0) tiebreak win over Queens' Tim Andersson, highlighted his competitive edge. Queguiner was honored as an ECC Player of the Week and made the ECC Weekly Honor Roll three times. He also achieved a No. 13 regional ranking in singles by the ITA.

In doubles action, Queguiner teamed up with Louis Mangeon for most of the season, where the duo made a formidable pair at the top position. The duo reached the semifinals of the ITA East Regional Championship in the Fall and earned a No. 3 ranking in the ITA East Region for doubles. A notable victory came against conference foe including St. Thomas Aquinas' top pair, Seth Newman and Henry Ronnberg.

Queguiner and the Firebirds will compete against St. Thomas Aquinas College in the semifinal of the upcoming ECC Championships.
