UDC Women's Tennis Schedule Released; Voted to Repeat as ECC Champs in ECC Preseason Poll
WASHINGTON, DC- The University of the District of Columbia's women's tennis team has released their fall 2022 schedule. They are also the favorites to win the Conference Championship in the preseason polls.
UDC will open their season at Home, on September 10th against Frostburg State. They will have a two week break before heading to N.Y. to compete in the ITA Division II East Regional Championships from the 23rd-26th. They finish off the month at home with a match up against Millersville.
The Firebirds will spend the first five games in October on the Road , before coming back home to finish up conference play hosting St Thomas Aquinas College on the 21st and Queens on the 22nd.
UDC welcomes back six of their players, including three first-team picks, Simoné Pärn, Sofia Bellucco and Mariona Franco, and Rookie of the Year Valentina Brienza. They also added a new player, Celia Bastin.
