Polina Zelentsova and Desire Parn Ranked Among Top Players in the Region

Washington, D.C. - Polina Zelentsova and Desire Parn, earned their spots in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), Fall regional rankings, as was announced earlier today. Zelentsova is ranked 6th, while Parn is ranked 13th in the singles rankings and the dynamic doubles duo has been ranked 5th in doubles.

Zelenstova went 9-1 in singles play this Fall, with her only loss dating back to the ITA's in September. In doubles play she finished with a record of 9-3 and was a quarterfinalists along with Parn at the ITA Tournament.

Parn was a quarterfinalist at the ITA Tournament in her college debut. She compleed the Fall season with a 6-5 singles record and 8-3 doubles record, playing as the Firebirds No.1.
