UDC Track & Field Announces 2026 Outdoor Schedule
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The University of the District of Columbia Track & Field program has officially announced its 2026 outdoor season schedule, featuring a competitive slate of meets across the region.
The Firebirds will open the outdoor campaign on March 28 at the St. Mary's Seahawk Invitational in St. Mar's, Maryland, marking the transition from a historic indoor season into the spring.
UDC will then head to Norfolk State for a two-day meet on April 3–4, followed by a trip to Morgan State on April 18 in Baltimore, Maryland.
One of the highlights of the season comes later in April as the Firebirds compete at the Penn Relays from April 23–25 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, facing top collegiate competition from across the country.
The postseason begins with the East Coast Conference Championships on April 30 in Rochester, New York, where UDC will look to build on its strong conference performances from the indoor season and defend their title.
Qualifying student-athletes will then have the opportunity to compete on the national stage at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for May 21–23 in Emporia, Kansas.
Coming off a standout indoor campaign that included conference titles, All-Region honors, and national qualification, the Firebirds enter the outdoor season with strong momentum and high expectations.
UDC will look to continue its success across sprints, hurdles, distance, relays, and field events as the program builds toward championship competition this spring.
