UDC Falls to Millersville & West Chester in Volleyball Action

West Chester, PA: November 3, 2007-- The University of the District of Columbia Lady Firebirds played their hearts out this weekend before falling to Millersville and West Chester Universities in volleyball matches this weekend, during the West Chester Tri-match.

Millersville defeated UDC 3-0, with scores of 30-26, 30-25, and 30-13, in the first match of the tournament.

In their second match of the day, West Chester defeated UDC 3-0, with scores of 30-18, 30-16, and 30-17.

The Lady Firebirds finished their season with a 9-16 record, and look to next year to re-build for the future.
