Women's Volleyball Gains Two Wins Today, Defeating Washington Bible and Notre Dame (MD)

Lanham, MD: September 25, 2010-- The University of the District of Columbia Firebirds Women's Volleyball team gained two wins today, during the Washington Bible College Tri-match in Lanham, Maryland.

In their first win of the day, the Firebirds defeated Washington Bible College, 3-0. Set scores were 25-9, 25-10 an 25-6.

In their match against Notre Dame College (MD) the total score was 4-0. The set scores were 25-10, 25-21, 26-24 and 25-17.

With these two wins, UDC improved to 11-4 for the season. They return to the court on September 27, for a re-match at Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Maryland. The Firebirds defeated the Shock, 3-0, on September 14.
