Washington, D.C. – The University of the District of Columbia Department of Intercollegiate Athletics recognized student-athletes during the 2011 Awards Banquet held at Maggiano’s in Friendship Heights on April 10, 2011.  The event highlighted the Firebird’s response to achieving academic and athletic excellence, community engagement, leadership and character building throughout the 2010-2011 academic year.
