UDC Defeats Philadelphia University 59-53

Washington, DC-November 17, 2007—The University of the District of Columbia Firebirds defeated the Philadelphia University Rams, 59-53, this afternoon at home. This was the second win of the new season for the Firebirds. Senior Charlie Smallwood (Palmer Park, MD) paced the Firebirds to the win with 16 points.

Senior Justin Walker (Teaneck, NJ) followed with 11 points and 4 rebounds, and senior Willie Shaw added 10 points, and 8 rebounds for the victory.

UDC will see action again on November 24, against Elizabeth City State University, at home.
