West Chester, PA: November 29, 2009-Sophomore guard Nigel Munson scored a game-high 20 points, collected 4 rebounds, dished out 2 assists and made I steal in a yeoman effort to bring a victory home for the visiting University of the District of Columbia Firebirds this afternoon at West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, the Firebirds' efforts were short of the goal as they fell to the Golden Rams, 74-61.
Kehinde Roberts scored 17 points, and grabbed 6 rebounds in leading the Golden Rams to the win over the Firebirds. Joining him in double figures were Ralph Hegamin with 15 points and 9 rebounds, and Harley Williamson with 12 points.

UDC finished with 36 percent (20 for 55) from the field, 17 percent (2-12) from three-point range and a phenomenal 83 percent (19 for 23) from the free-throw line.
West Chester opened the game with a 4-0 run before UDC came back to knot the score at 4 at the 15:48 mark. After a 10-1 run by West Chester they went on to take a, 32-23, lead into the break.
The Golden Rams improved their shooting to 50 percent (12 for 24) in the second half, but the Firebirds stayed close, coming to within 2 points with 8:27 remaining. West Chester mounted a run in the closing minutes to take the lead to 15, which UDC cut to 13 in the last second.
Freshman guard Dyrek Jones (Brooklyn, NY) added 15 points to the Firebird score, while grabbing 8 rebounds and making 2 steals. Keith Brooks, a freshman guard from Harlem, New York, followed with 12 points 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.
UDC fell to 0-5 with this loss, but look to bounce back on December 4-5 at the East Stroudsburg Tournament in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
