UDC Men’s Basketball Announces 2024-2025 Schedule

Washington, D.C- The University of the District of Columbia men's basketball team is excited to announce its 2024-25 season schedule, packed with competitive matchups both at home and on the road. 

The Firebirds will open their season at the ECC/CACC tip off hosted at Wilmington (Del.) from November 8-9, featuring match ups against Wilmington (Del.) and Goldey-Beacom. UDC then heads to fellow HBCU, Morgan State University, for a cross division exhibition match. 

UDC will play their first home game on November 16 in a HBCU showdown against Virginia Union at 3:00 PM at the UDC Sports Complex for homecoming.

This year's HBCU match ups include a home match up against Cheyney, November 20, and the annual rivalry game against Bowie Sate University, December 4. 

UDC will kick off ECC play with a three game home stand against D'Youville University, Daemen University and the College of Staten Island on December 6, 8, and 14. 

The second half of the season features all conference match ups as the Firebirds look to make their fourth consecutive ECC play-offs which will be hosted from March 5-9.
