Season: 3rd

2015: Started all 11 games as the Firebirds' goalkeeper...4th in the ECC with 135 shots saved...his greatest effort came against Dominican where he made 18 saves and earned a season-high 62% save percentage to help UDC earn the victory.

2014: Played in 6 games overall and 5 games as goalkeeper...made 22 saves and had a save percentage of 55%...won 3 ground balls and caused one turnover...made a season-high 10 saves against Molloy (4/27) in the final game of the season.

High School: Patrick attended Calvert Hall in Gatonsville, MD…he transferred from CCBC Catonsville, and played lacrosse for a year before coming to UDC…he played Rugby in high school and won two championships while part of the team.

Personal: Son of James and Patricia Payne...has two older brothers, David and Brian...Environmental Science major with a career goal to work for Water Resources Management with MDE…hobbies include surfing, hunting and fishing...other sports he enjoys watching and playing are rugby, football and soccer...favorite athletes are Justin Forsett and Adam Jones...favorite foods are crabs, goose, deer and duck… favorite movie is Mighty Ducks...favorite television show is The Wire…favorite music artists are Soja and Brantley Gilbert...chose UDC for its lacrosse team, location and education program...his greatest athletic experience was playing Junior College Lacrosse at CCBC Catonsville...dream as a college athlete is to win the conference and national championship...his greatest athletic influence is his dad…he has worn the number 26 since he started playing lacrosse…his strangest superstition on gameday is that he uses the bathroom multiple times.
