Lady Firebirds Basketball Score High in Classroom

The Lady Firebirds Basketball Team scored major points in the classroom last semester, with several achieving a grade point average of above 3.5.  Tiffany Church, a freshman, business management major, earned a 3.81 G.P.A., Narissa Eve, sophomore, business management (3.62), Narissa Eve, sophomore, business management (3.62), Robin Williams, sophomore, journalism major (3.60), and Nicole Cooper, freshman, business management (3.53). These exceptional young ladies earned a spot on the Dean’s List as a result of their academic achievement.

The team, as a whole, earned a combined grade point average of 2.90 for the spring semester 2007. The team also scored in other ways off the court as Narissa Eve was elected sophomore class president, while Robin Williams was elected queen of the sophomore class. These young ladies proved that they are very active on the court and in the classroom.
