Director of Athletics Patricia Thomas and Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee Michael Glascoe to Appear on In and Out of Sports Radio Show Sunday
WASHINGTON, DC – University of the District of Columbia Director of Athletics Patricia Thomas and recent Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee Dr. Michael Glascoe will appear on the In and Out of Sports Talk Radio show hosted by UDC alum Butch McAdams this Sunday at 12 p.m.
Thomas, who has served as Director of Athletics for University of the District of Columbia since December 2008, will talk about the school's 2nd Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Class and the induction ceremony event held on February 15th at Maggiano's Little Italy. She will also highlight some of the recent accomplishments in the athletic department, including the women's indoor track & field team's East Coast Conference Championship, junior Shauna-Kay Creary's participation in the NCAA Indoor Championship meet, and much more.
Dr. Michael Glascoe, a two-sport standout in football and baseball at District of Columbia Teachers College (Class of 1972), was inducted into the University of the District of Columbia Athletics Hall of Fame this year. He, too, will talk about the ceremony event, as well as his student-athlete career, his influences, and his experience as an educator upon graduation from DCTC.
